Wrapping up the Weight

What's #1?

Let’s finish this up!

There are actually a few things that have made us successful with WW. If you’ve made it through all three of these posts, I GREATLY appreciate it. I’m excited about the progress we’ve made and hope I can inspire anyone you who may need the assistance. We know the struggle.

I’ve already mentioned Food Freedom. Again, we don’t like to be tied down.

2) Easy Peasy

The WW system is super easy to follow. Put what you eat into the app, and it does all the math for you. It’s actually kinda fun.

WW has gamified weight loss. You hit your points goals, you lose weight. We haven’t added anything complicated, no extra exercises or hard to make recipes.

We plan all our meals Sunday before grocery shopping, put them into the app for what ever day we’re eating it, and go. Points done!

Go slightly over? Use your Weeklies (Bonus points for activity)

Shopping is another game. The app allows you to scan food so you can see the points. Remember, the goal is to stay within your points when you eat. Find foods that you like, keep you within the points, SCORE!!

Creating recipes if fairly easy also. There is a HUGE database of foods you can choose from. Add all your ingredients, name it, and hit create. Now you can use it over and over. We have a few things we eat all the time and I’ve created recipes for each of them. You can share them with anyone who is using WW.

Which brings me to the big success factor:

1) Accountability

Being accountable for your actions can be difficult in weight loss. It’s easy to slip, eat what you are not supposed to eat and take a few backward steps. WW helps in that everything you do can be tracked. IF you track it, you can be successful.

Kelly is mine. Every diet we have tried, we’ve both accepted responsibilty to do it right and held each other to the plan. WW is no different. We make sure we only eat what we should, we keep each other from over eating or drinking and we decide together, what meals are best.

Being accountable to yourself can be hard. Having someone else there to keep you on track, push you back when you go astray or compliment you when you are doing good, helps tremendously.

Wrapping it up

I hope you have enjoyed my review of the Weight Watchers program. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been on it for over 109 days and I’ve lost almost 30 pounds. I’m impressed with the ease of our success and wanted to share it with you.

If you decide to try it, here is a link that will give you 3 months free.

If you do join, let me know. I’d be happy to be your accountability support also. I’ll share some recipes here also.

Again, thank you for reading and subscribing. If you like what you are reading, please share.
