The first of many, many newsletters!

I’ve been carrying around ideas in my head for decades. It’s amazing how much can actually be stuffed in one person’s mind. I think about the past, what I’m doing today and what I would rather be doing tomorrow.

In the past I’ve tried doing some blogs. They never really go anywhere. There is always the excitement to start, bold plans! Change the world attitude! Make KA-BILLIONS of dollars! Though, there was no real cohesion or passion behind them.

Birth of the Boring Old Guy

In December of ‘21, I decided I was going to build a YouTube channel, Life of a Boring Old Guy, after watching a few other people start to be come successful. I plunked a fair amount of money down to learn how to get 1000’s of subscribers fast and make money.

Could I have not spent the money? Maybe. I did learn a lot though. I’m not social media guru now or an influencer. I’m just a boring old guy.

The channel has evolved over a year and still needs some fine tuning. I have plans for it, and now that you are subscribed here, you’ll be able to watch. (Shameless plug, please subscibe to the channel 😁 )

I’m glad you asked!

I have a passion for helping people. Whether it’s simple advice or complicated projects, I’m here. My superpower is the ability to talk to anyone anywhere. Makes life interesting.

Over the years, I’ve learned lots of lessons. Many little things that if I have known sooner, could have made life different.

I’m happy where I am. Many people are not. If I can help you to smile, encourage you in difficult times or inspire you to greatness, that makes me happy.

This is what I want this to be.

How do you get to play?

I’m not here to sit in front of a keyboard and spread the gospel of the of guy. I’m here to bring a light of something positive to you. Though, I don’t know what that looks like.
